Katie + Erich // Earle Brown Heritage Center
I love the extraordinary people the most. I love the people... that I remember. There are certain people who have that (insert an emoji with someone jumping on a rocket and flying to the moon, spraying fireworks as they travel at rocket speed through the sky, the fireworks bursting into color, love, donuts, songs that constantly hit the drop and everyone breaks out in dance at once) I couldn't find that specific emoji but that is the only way my description of Katie & Erich could ever do them justice!
You have a bride who completed the grueling Ironman, something so intense the name is still sexist. This Ironwoman's passion for life is so great that only a man of equal beauty could ever capture it. Sure enough in the most rare of encounters, these two meet at an auctioneer school. I, personally, forgot to look for love there. It goes to show that it waits for you, hiding in the most unique places.
Their love was so strong, Erich uprooted his life to move from Montana to Minnesota so they could be together. Their wedding day was filled with so much positive energy and love that they were able to auction off a dinner with the couple that garnered thousands of dollars for a cause in India that is closest to their heart. I love weddings where you feel honored just to be there. This was such a wedding.
